Organization status
Doing Big Things is currently being formed as a nonprofit organization. Nothing on this site should be read as a representation of tax-exempt status, government affiliation, permit authority, or endorsement by any agency.
Not an emergency service
We are not police, fire, animal control, public health, or a state or federal wildlife authority. Submitting a report does not summon emergency services and does not guarantee any response. Call 911 in an emergency.
No guarantee of outcome
Response depends on capacity, service area, legal authority, permits, weather, safety and partner availability. We may refer a case rather than respond to it, and we may be unable to act at all.
Your safety is your responsibility
Guidance on this site is general information, not instruction to act. Never place yourself, another person, or an animal at risk in order to help. Do not enter private property, roadways, water or confined spaces.
Not veterinary or legal advice
Content here is educational. It does not replace a licensed veterinarian, a licensed wildlife rehabilitator, or an attorney.
Acceptable use
Do not submit false reports, harass responders, misuse contact information, or use this site to circumvent laws governing animal possession, wildlife, or protected species.
Content you submit
You keep ownership of your photos and descriptions and grant us permission to use them for case handling, coordination and record-keeping. Public or promotional use requires your separate permission.
Changes
These terms will be reviewed by counsel and may change as the organization is formed. Continued use of the site means you accept the current terms.
